Max is our dog. We found it a few years ago, behind our back garden fence when it was just a puppy. It was wet to the bones and shivering like a leaf. It would probably have died if I hadn't found it on time. It was a rainy day of October with a few degrees above 0. I took it inside and I called the vet. He told me to bring it to the clinic for tests, which I did. I'm still thinking who could have done such a terrible thing. If I knew the person I would send him or her straight to prison. Such a cruel act can not be pardoned or forgiven. I'm not the vengeful kind but I promised myself that I look forward to meet that human and find out if it happened only once and only Max she/he abandoned. I promise if I find her/his address I'll send him/her an impressive letter so she or he will never ever do that again.
