Hello John,
I'm writing you this letter because I finally finished decorating my room. As you know I planned renovating it since last summer when you visited me.
Now I realise that I was so busy since you left that I haven't wrote you for a long time. Every day when I was sitting at my desk doing homework or waiting on my laptop, something came up and I was too tired to send you an email or write you on Facebook something more than just "hello, how are you?".
Anyway, I hope you are doing fine and hopefully we will see each other before Christmas.
Coming back to the subject of me renovating my room, I chose to paint all the walls white, except the one where my bed is, which I painted light blue. They save blue is a colour that helps you sleep. I read that in a magazine And if I remember well it is that magazine that you forgot here last summer. It has a lot of articles about decorating rooms and making the most from a small room like mine.
Some of the pictures in that magazine inspired me to ask the carpenter to make a beautiful bookcase on one of the walls. As you know I have a lot of books and I love to read.
But it wasn't just the magazine that made me decide to paint one of the walls in light blue, it is also my favourite colour. I know your favourite colour is green and I admit I was almost convinced to paint the walls green after we talked on the phone, but I didn't like any of the green shades the paint shop offered me.
I took some pictures of the oom while I was painting it and I hope we will have a lot of fun watching them when you come to visit .
