Once last week my parents had to visit a relative. He had been hospitalized on account of a minor operation. I had my exam two days later, so I decided to stay home and study. My parents were to return by evening. I really had a great time alone at home.
They left my lunch and other eatables cooked and ready to eat when I wanted. For first hour I studied. Then I had an urge to drink coffee. I made myself a delicious cup of coffee. I thoroughly relished it. After the refreshment, I watched TV for an hour or so. My parents called me up to know if I was alright. They were quite happy to know that I was enjoying myself.
I studied for one more hour. At 2 p.m. I began feeling hungry. I heated my lunch and enjoyed it while watching TV. I felt like a king of a small kingdom. I could do anything I wanted. At 3:30 p.m. one of my classmates called on me. He wanted some help in studies. We studied together till 5:30 p.m.
My parents returned exactly at 6 p.m. They were quite happy to know that I could look after myself now.
